A brief introduction to the Secwepemc Nation on whose territory Roderick Haig-Brown Park is situated. It is there we witnessed the extraordinary Adams River sockeye run, from the banks of the Adams River a short distance up river from Shuswap Lake.
Signs within the Park along the banks of the Adams River give a tourist’s eye view (of necessity superficial) of the Shuswap First Nation, Rodedrick Haig-Brown Park and the Adams River System.
