The Tribe Again Rejoices!

Announcing, (Ta-Dah! )….the publication of a book in the Environmental Humanities Series of Routledge Publishers: Carbon Footprints as Cultural-Ecological Metaphors, by our own sweet, little egg-head, Anita.

Written in the characteristic style and idiom of academic publications for born-again academics, the publication shows proof of serious scholarship and as such is a challenging read for us, mere mortals.

Of more interest especially to readers of this blog with its Caribbean bias, is section 3 of Diasporic Trickster Bearings, pages 1045-1052 of the publication below, entitled: Trickster Carbon: stories, science and post colonial interventions for climate justice.

In this paper, our beloved Academic comes down from her podium to display wider wisdom, exploring her humanity, blending the many components of her genealogy with the landscapes of her youth to add refreshing and novel contextual nuance to the subject of carbon.
