Trans Generational Narratives

We

(On Being Human)

We are all composites.

We are accretions, ever growing multiples

Of the constantly evolving elements of past genetic

And cultural accretions, to which we add

Something borrowed, something

Old, something new,

Before,

After or

Without ceremony,

Incidentally or accidentally,

Disseminating by inseminating the stuff of life.

We are vectors, carrying and transmitting to

Other humans, the contagion of life.

Through us the physical ‘stuff’

Of life passes, as in

An Endless

Stream.

As in sleepless dream

We accept genetic gifts

From the past and add value to those gifts

Advertently or inadvertently by choosing other traits from

Another genetic stream. We are United Nations: We are fragments

From the divided states of Europe:

We are splinters from divided

Triibes of Africa.

We have wisps of Asiatic origins.

We are all remnants of the original global diaspora out of Africa.

We are dissent:

We are consent, we are consensus:

We are born in conformity to human laws:

We are born opportunistically.

We are well distributed globally and value the global perspective

That our widespread distribution gives us. We were born

In old worlds, Europe Africa and Asia:

We live and die in new worlds,

Australasia and the

Americas.

We love passionately and durably:

We love tentatively, expediently and without commitment.

We are fragments of a fractured world, splinters from old cultures,

Remnants of ancient practices, customs or religions.

Gregarious humanity: Peripatetic humanity,

Always in search of a

More sustainable

Eden.
